Abstract

Launched september 2019 Global Compact on Education indicates as the first of its seven commitments the ‘centrality of the person’. In other words, the pact assumes Personalism as its philosophical anthropology when it comes to the theorization of men’s cultural formation, that is, its paideia. With that first the paper presents personalism through Ricœur’s reading in Histoire et verité (1955) then it deals with personalism’s applicability in a socio educational context.
