Abstract

This article wants to develop the problem of the "new humanism" from a perspective of epochal transition, of a dramatic rupture of paradigms, putting the focus on a political-cultural and educational horizon. Clarifying that when talking about concepts such as humanism, post-humanism and dehumanization, it is always necessary to take into account either the techno-anthropological nuance or the ethical-political one, the idea of a planetary human being is introduced – through the use of the thought of Ernesto Balducci – that as an “homo absconditus” he can reach a new identity, a new cosmic consciousness through the awareness of an interdependence between human beings and the biosphere in their mutual relationship.
