Abstract

The following article seeks to elucidate the concept of “political economy of violence and death”, which we propose as a possible definition of fascism. We worked with this concept for the first time in the book The Revenge of the Foremen. Bolsonarism as fascism (Guéron, 2022). We intend to show how the political philosophy of Felix Guattari, especially after his meeting with Gilles Deleuze, was decisive for us to arrive at this concept, that is, for us to define what we understand as a flow of violence and death typical of the capitalist social machine; violence and death that immanently circulates, both as a commodity form -- as an effective form of surplus value and profit production, and as an intense and attractive libidinal economy.
