Abstract

The present article addresses two meanings of the theme of crisis in Husserl: one theoretical and the other practical. The first results from the project of naturalization of consciousness and ideas, while the second is related to a crisis of European humanity. The article shows that the Husserlian diagnosis of the crisis only becomes possible to the extent that the exercise of the critical task denounces the contradictions of the naturalistic doctrine in both the theoretical and practical senses, revealing the inseparable relationship between both.
