This paper is an attempt to reflect on the relationship between the theory of evolution and Christian faith, starting from creation. We will not delve into details in the description of the theory, nor will we delve into the characteristics of faith. What we are aiming at is to become aware of the necessary moderation that a Christian who believes in evolution must have, as well as an atheist or atheist scientist, as well as a fundamentalist Christian. Critical reason is as necessary in religious experience so that it does not become deformed, as faith in science is necessary to be able to accept its limitations. But both religion, which intelligences the experience of faith and gives it a channel, and the development of scientific thought that seeks to understand the phenomena, are lived within the framework of Creation which, even in its disagreements, is the theater in which human life develops and where each person cultivates his or her dreams and hopes for a better world.
