Abstract

This article aims to identify the challenges and practices of psychologists regarding work at the CRAS of the Midwest region of Rio Grande do Sul during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this purpose, dialogical interviews were conducted with sixteen psychologists active in eight municipalities, which were randomly selected - through an online platform - to participate in the study. The analysis of the information was organized according to the constructive-interpretative proposal. As a result, professionals were identified who organized and adapted their practices during the pandemic in response to the demands required in that unusual time. The participants' ability to not have stopped their work stands out, managing to critically analyze the scenario and their actions, aligning practices with the objectives of the SUAS and the demands that have arisen. Furthermore, it was identified that collective practices occupied a place of relevance in the moment of resuming post-pandemic actions. Finally, it was observed in the participants a movement of (re)construction regarding the know-how encompassing critical-reflective positions, ethical-political engagement, as well as appropriation of public policy, recognizing themselves as a mediating agent in this field.
