Abstract

Introduction: Digital Subjectivity is a new perception of the world based on changes in communication through social networks, digital platforms, the rapid speed of propagation of information, algorithms and appealing content, besides the commercialization of personal data by large companies. In addition to these techno-communicative revolutions, new family arrangements and compositions of social bonds emerged based on exacerbated, volatile and immediate consumerism. In this way, the construction of subjectivity among teenagers in the contemporary scenario was thought, considering the developing individual who went through a particular historical period during the COVID-19 pandemic, where social isolation caused excessive immersion in digital media. In the light of Analytical Psychological, we sought to understand these current phenomena such as the construction of subjectivity in cyberculture, possible impacts on the psychic apparatus and the reasons that led these audiences to take refuge in digital media. Objective: To analyze the impacts of social networks / digital world on the construction of adolescents’ subjectivity, from the perspective of Analytical Psychology. Method: Qualitative descriptive research was carried out through the databases: PePSIC, SciELO and Google Scholar. Results and discussion: 12 articles from 2012 to 2022, written in Portuguese. The following topics were raised for discussion: pandemic and mental health; subjectivity in digital media; self-image and personality perception; social and family relationships. Conclusion: Digital subjectivity is a new concept, but it already has a lot of theoretical body and is related to different areas, thus needing to promote debates regarding these phenomena.
