Abstract

In this text we will seek the idea that a liberating education in connection with Theology is a contribution to decolonial
thinking. Knowing that we have a complex reality not only in terms of social structure, but also human perspectives, it is necessary to delve into the spiritual life already in the period of human and intellectual formation. We intend to show that the dialogue and self-knowledge of the individual contributes to the construction of a freer and more tolerant society, which seeks to understand its worldly passage as a divine grace to be shared by the diversity of people and realities. Looking at Brazil and its educational issue, we see that the decolonial work is precious for us to reach a realization of the
integral experience of the human being: physical and spiritual. The text is bibliographical and aims to work on the importance of a decolonial vision in search of a better understanding of the human being and from education to form beings that seek human, social and religious integrity.
