LESÃO MUSCULAR APÓS DIFERENTES MÉTODOS DE TREINAMENTO DE MUSCULAÇÃO
Abstract
O estudo objetivou comparar dois métodos de treinamento, em relação ao nível de creatina quinase na corrente sangüínea e a freqüência de dor muscular tardia. Foram considerados 40 estudantes universitários, com pequena experiência no treinamento com pesos, divididos em dois grupos: o “Multiple Set System” (MSS) e o “Circuit Weight Training” (CWT). A dor muscular tardia (DMT) foi mensurada de acordo com o procedimento de Talag (1973), avaliada imediatamente após a sessão de treinamento e, posteriormente, às 24, 48 e 72 horas. Amostras de sangue foram colhidas durante os mesmos períodos. Os níveis de creatina quinase (CK) no sangue medidos por meio de espectrofotometria (Reflotron) foram 88± 122,95 e 87,10 ± 96,75 U/L, no pré-exercício, para o MSS e CWT, respectivamente. Após 24 horas, 371,00 ± 597,50 e 190,00 ± 248,35 U/L, em 48 horas 800,00 ±609,10 e 219,00 ± 495,85 U/L, em 72 horas 1300,00 ± 631,40 e 145,00 ± 631,00 U/ L. As medidas de DMT foram significativamente menores no CWT (p < 0,05). Os resultados demonstraram que o CWT é menos lesivo, apontando para sua utilização nas fases iniciais de treinamento. Além disso, o protocolo utilizado sugere uma relação metabólica entre o treinamento e os sinais de microlesão muscular.Downloads
