This study aims to report a case of panvasculitis in a lamb attended at teaching hospital os State University of Northern Paraná presenting spontaneous drainage of umbilical purulent secretion, with leukocytosis due to neutrophilia and suggestive images on ultrasound, diagnosed with panvasculitis. The instituted treatment consisted of washing the umbilical region and intramuscular administration of gentamicin and sodium cephalothin. After sixteen days of treatment, the patient showed neurological signs of lumbosacral syndrome and cauda equina syndrome, and on the twentieth day, it died. Necropsy revealed lesions in the kidneys and liver, infection of the umbilical artery and vein, urachus, and a paravertebral abscess that led to necrosis of the spinal cord and lumbosacral spine. The findings indicated infection of the umbilical structures and sepsis. It is known that this is a common condition in cattle; however, reports in small ruminants are less frequent. Therefore, the presentation of the clinical and pathological findings in this case enhances the existing literature, serving as support for other cases.
