Abstract

The Centros de Referência de Assistência Social (CRASs - Brazilian Social Assistance Reference Centers) are public unities located close to families and individuals who are in vulnerable situations and in social risk derived from poverty, weakened bonds and/or lack of access to public services. These centers include psychology on its reference team and have been a challenging place for this professional practice. This paper aims to describe and analyze the production of Brazilian post-graduation regarding the work of psychologists in CRASs. It consists in a systematic review of literature, using the qualitative metasynthesis method, which based its analysis on the Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES (CAPES’ Cathalog of Dissertations and Thesis) productions published between 2005 to 2019. The results and discussion were organized in three axis: (1) Professional identity and the doing-knowing of psychology in SUAS, (2) Basic documents and its (mis)encountering for practice in the field, (3) Limits and challenges for the practice of psychology. There is assumed that the contribution of this study was focusing on the trajectory of research on this area, bearing in mind that, as we study a phenomenon and describe it, we might see it in a critical way and draw new routes for the challenges that are presented. There is comprehended that a path has already been drawn, but there is still a need to detach from this speech that is translated more by the lack and fragilities (not by ignoring them), strengthening the construction of new daily practices in the CRASs.
