Abstract

The ecclesial concern with education has contributed to the consolidation of an educational practice that takes into account human integrality. New keys of cultural, social and anthropological reading are offered from the insertion in the great salvific mission of the Church. All areas of knowledge, inside and outside the school space, must reach their fullness with a view to human growth to make them ‘image, according to the likeness of God’. In this way, we reflect on the challenges, novelties and perspectives of the ‘educational village’, especially in a Latin American context, with priority given to the Brazilian reality. Only with this idea of a village organized with a view to education, in which everyone, rooted in their realities, are co-responsible for each other, will it be possible to offer conditions to integrate with all nature and with all society in a relationship of healthy life, thus generating well-being.
