AVALIAÇÃO DA CAPACIDADE AERÓBIA E EXERCÍCIOS RESISTIDOS EM PACIENTES COM DERMATOMIOSITE E POLIMIOSITE JUVENIL: revisão de literatura
Abstract
INTRODUÇÃO: A dermatomiosite e a polimiosite juvenil são doenças autoimunes, multissistêmicas, que afetam primariamente a pele, os músculos esqueléticos e o tubo digestivo, podendo causar processo inflamatório nos músculos e articulações, e consequentemente limitação ao movimento e na sua qualidade de vida. OBJETIVO: Verificar a aplicação dos exercícios resistidos no tratamento da dermatomiosite e da polimiosite por meio de revisão da literatura. METODOLOGIA: Foram selecionados artigos das bases de dados: Lilacs, Medline, Pubmed e Web of Science. Os artigos deveriam ser observacionais e intervencionais experimentais. RESULTADOS: De acordo com a literatura, os exercícios resistidos diminuem a dor, melhoram a função, não apresentam aumento do nível de inflamação muscular e melhoram a qualidade de vida dos pacientes com dermatomiosite juvenil. Além dos benefícios citados, os exercícios resistidos também melhoram o condicionamento físico. CONCLUSÃO: Os exercícios resistidos melhoram a dor, função e condicionamento físico dos pacientes com dermamiosite e/ou polimiosite juvenil.Downloads
