It was a policy tool, a publication in the format of a printed magazine, focusing on the institutions, the players, the role of education and projects for the rural area. This paper analyzes the importance of this publication, its function of legitimizing the policies for the sector, the content and the context in which it circulated, as well as the topics, articles, news, facts, administrative documents and pedagogical content aimed at rural life. It is concluded that this publication helped establish guidelines for the work of teachers, for emulating exemplary practices, as a strategy to constitute the professional identity of rural teachers, and to disseminate the expansionist policies of the sector.</div></td></tr></tbody></table><div class="palavras"> </div> ER -
